Niko Schwind Delivers a Rugged Electro-Tech Remix of “Something or Nothing”

German Brigante and Thomas Gandey come together on their new Something or Nothing EP for the Manitox label, featuring slick, breaks-fueled electro that’s complemented by some smooth vocals courtesy of Nick Maurer. Deutsch producer Niko Schwind steers things in a rather more house-based direction with his remix, and we’re featuring it as our Track of the Day.

Retaining a lot of the same electro elements that stood out in the original, Schwind takes the opportunity to transform it into a gritty, tech-driven stormer, appropriately rough around the edges but with plenty of function for peak-time. Schwind’s remix of “Something or Nothing” will prove a functional weapon for progressive and tech-house DJs alike.
