Main Course is at it again with a new installment of SNACKS dropping this Friday. As always, they’re bringing the freshest underground talent to our ears with a tasty mix of experimental house and techno.

We were able to snag one of the tracks off the compilation from Italian upstart Jeremy Meeks. It’s an analog techno workout that’ll have your body jacking in ways you didn’t think it could. Grab the free download for the next seven days, and be sure to scope the rest of the tracks on Friday.

Were you impulsive on this track, or did you have a sketch in mind before you started?
I was really impulsive when making this track. I was messing around on Ableton, and I found that vocal chop and was like, “Oh my god, this is what I’m looking for.” So, I moved the BPM up to 130, and the track was born.

What’s your favorite sound/synth/effect/etc. used here?
I think it’s the main synth, which is from a Jupiter. I think that it sounds clean and big, which gives the track the power that she needs.

Who is the ideal person to remix this track?
If I had to choose a remixer, I think that L-Vis 1990 would be the man. His tracks have given me so much inspiration since I start producing. I love his choice of the synths and the way he mixes them with simple vocals or simple drum structures, like “DS Theme.”

Have you played this one out in any of your sets? If so, what was the response?
I’ve played this track in all my sets since I finished it. I wasn’t really sure in the beginning, but I think that people appreciate the track because of the groovy drums and the easy-to-remember vocal.

How does this production reflect your personality/ethos?
This track reflects me so much. I’m not down with the same sounds every time. When I’m on a sequencer, I love to experiment and try new styles and stuff. On this track, I used a TR-808 drum machine that usually I don’t use, but I’m really satisfied with the final work.
