Watch These Headliners Dance the Night Away at EDC Las Vegas 2017—in GIF Form!

All of this boils down to dancing. All the massive drops, piercing lasers, endless fireworks, and the millions of bells and whistles we throw into this wild rave circus are here to make you move your feet and engage your soul. Whether it’s from a caveman beating an antelope shin against a tree or Diplo spanking out a bit of reggaeton, human beings dance to beats.

At EDC Las Vegas, we’ve got shufflers, stompers, jumpstylers, hip-hoppers, body poppers, and every shape and size of vibed-out, beat-contorted shape-throwers milling around the Speedway, gliding from stage to stage and spreading the EDC love through their beautiful bodies.

We wanted to meet and document some of our favorite dancers, so we hopped from stage to stage to get a taste of the different types of styles across EDC Las Vegas.

Wide Awake Since: I was introduced to hardstyle three years ago, but this is my first EDC. I’m having the best fucking time of my life.
If you could teach any historical figure to dance, who would it be and why? HP Lovecraft, because I feel like he would have some super weird dance moves.

Wide Awake Since: I’ve been coming to Insomniac events since 2013, and this is my fifth EDC. I actually performed at EDC in 2015!
If you could teach any historical figure to dance, who would it be and why? Trump is making history for terrible reasons, and I feel like he could use some hoop love in his life.
