Pat Lok ft. Desiree Dawson “All in My Head”

As thousands flee the icy grip of winter and head to Playa del Carmen for the BPM Festival, the rest of us will have to close our eyes and try to imagine the sandy beaches and salty breezes of Mexico. Luckily, we have a premiere of Pat Lok’s new track, “All in My Head,” to help put you in a warmer state of mind. The song appears on a compilation called Poolside: Mexico that’s dropping Monday on the legendary Toolroom imprint. This compilation focuses more on the deep and playful vibe, instead of the pumping house and techno that is usually associated with the label. Pat Lok smashed this track out of the park with a spirited chord progression that plays along nicely with Desiree Dawson’s lovely vocals. It will make you wish you were on your way to somewhere very tropical.
