The material Michael Hansen—otherwise known as Manse—has been responsible for in recent days has seen the young Swede’s career skyrocket out of control. He’s been a huge target for imprints such as Revealed Recordings and Protocol, who were quick to jump all over his refreshing progressive and big-room output.
Enhanced Music is getting the next piece, with the estimable label picking up his latest offering, “We Come Alive.” It brings the same vigor and emotional appeal as most of his previous productions, making sure not to undersell in the melody department. Cornellia Jakobs lets it all out with her scratchy vocal delivering, which is then complemented completely by Manse’s from-the-heart chord progressions and briskly moving synth work. It’s going to drive the dancefloor mad.
Manse shares a few words on his work:
“We Come Alive” is one of my very personal tracks that I’ve been working on for quite a while. It was amazing to work with Cassandra and Cornelia (the girls who wrote the lyrics and melody); we really connected in the studio. I wanted to make a track about forbidden love, and they really created an amazing story about that, as you can hear in the track. I hope the fans will appreciate the track in context. In typical Manse format: a lot of emotions in the melodies, and also brings a lot of energy in the drop.
