Metodi Hristov’s Set About imprint is making deep strides on behalf of the Bulgarian underground scene, with mega signings from some of the most distinguished artists on the market. Gallya is a promising name they’ve been supporting since the off, and she’s on deck to drop another stunning EP by the name of Combinations.

On the release’s B-side lives a dark and brooding number, “Do You,” which has been passed off to Juliet Fox for her ever-reliable remix treatment. The Berlin-based bombshell—who nailed her own appearance on Set About earlier in the year—adds her distinctively dank and driving character to the cut. Propping the original vocal up to a higher order, Fox loops it out over a propulsive and severely intoxicating rhythm that shows the handy work of someone becoming an exceedingly big deal in the tech arena. Dive into the first stream of her rework below, and catch a few words directly from Juliet Fox herself:

I decided to take the track in a slightly darker direction, but still with a driving groove and bassline. The hypnotic vocal in this track is great, so I wanted to keep this as the main feature, but also add a vocal loop to run throughout the track. I have been playing it out a lot lately, and the response is great—so rewarding to see the energy flowing into people who are dancing to your music.

Available November 28 via Set About.
