Einmusik is making waves due to his tireless hard work and overwhelming creative output. Over the past decade, the prolific German, aka Samuel Kindermann, has released quality tracks on respected underground labels like Diynamic, Katermukke and Suara, as well as his own signature imprint, Einmusika.

Now, the 38-year-old Berliner is set to release his most ambitious project to date: his latest LP, Serenade. Split into two parts, the new 12-track album combines his two unabashed loves: forward-thinking dance music (Movement I) and lush ambient-electronic listening (Movement II). Our standout selection from part one, “Maan,” is an emotive, progressive-house cut that features rolling bass and crisp breaks.

“‘Maan’ is about the moon, when the blue light is reflecting on the water surface on mellow summer nights,” Einmusik explains to Insomniac. “Just watching the night traffic from the roof of a skyscraper, or simply driving with your bike at night, while enjoying music on your headphones—‘Maan’ is the perfect sound design for these moments.”

Stream “Maan” below—and be sure to catch Einmusik throughout October at the annual Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), Barcelona’s La Terrazza, and Berlin’s own Watergate.

Available October 16 on Einmusika.
