Suara Boss Coyu Rips It Up With Raw Remix of “Repetition Pattern”

Like the rest of the dance music industry, the Suara team is in the Netherlands right now for the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), putting the pieces into place for one of its special Suara Nights events that are set to go off this Friday night. To help celebrate, we thought we’d throw down a premiere from the big cat himself. Early next month, the mysterious Holli will be dropping his debut five-track Signals EP on the label, featuring four of his originals, plus a special Coyu remix of “Repetition Pattern,” and it’s colored in a definite techno shade of “Raw.”

The raw mix sees the label boss dropping down into stripped-back techno mode, with a gritty rework that’s packed with a stomping kick, sharp hi-hats and percussion that swirls and builds, eventually settling into a swinging, bouncy rhythm. It’s thoroughly driving yet sonically restrained, a testament to Coyu’s convictions that Suara is about more than just tech house. Happy Friday, and have a great Suara Night(s)!
