Jack Beats and DJ Zinc Go Absolutely Mad With “Raise It Up”

The mighty Jack Beats are back with another blistering release of low-end goodness. This round sees them returning to the fitting Night Bass label to drop a power-packed four-track EP, The Remedy, which sees them doing what they do best: pushing the bar ever higher.

And what could be better proof than enlisting the aid of UK legend DJ Zinc? A simple beat starts off “Raise It Up” before a very stabbing UKG bassline is joined by a synth that sounds not-so-suspiciously like a rising siren. But the harbinger of serious business comes via a live sample—from equally notable MC GQ—which does its job at getting a crowd hyped. Then, everything crashes into a mental drop of deep and vicious bassline.

This mind-melting collab has everything a banger needs, and nothing else. The energy is nonstop, while the dynamic keeps the tension rising and falling in perpetual motion. It’s got a callback to classic sounds, along with boundary-pushing, modern touches. Of course, no less should be expected from a group of artists thriving in their expertise. This is another solid release for Night Bass, and another floor-burning heater for both Jack Beats and DJ Zinc.
