Awesome People We Met on Day 2 of Beyond Bay

With as hard as everyone went on Saturday at Beyond Bay, we would’ve totally understood if y’all had returned for day two with a little less enthusiasm and slightly less elaborate outfits. But the thousands of Headliners who turned out went hard in the paint for the second day, returning to the show with amazing attitudes and impressive ensembles. Mad props.

Trap for sure. I have a few favorite artists, GTA, Yellow Claw, and Flosstradamus, of course.

Number of Insomniac shows attended: This is my first Insomniac event. This is my first electronic music event. I’ve been to Jazz Fest in New Orleans, but that’s a little different scene there. I’ve gotta say this event is absolutely incredible. The production—I’ve never seen anything like this in person. Everyone is excited to see me wherever I go. Everyone wants to shake my hand or give me a hug. The atmosphere is so great, so welcoming. I really appreciate the easy access all over the venue too.
What’s the last thing you googled? I’m pretty much on Reddit all day because I just have my phone that I can fuck around with and that’s it.
Trance, trap or techno? I’m definitely expanding my horizons. I used to be a heavy metal kid, and then got into reggae and jazz and now here I am at a rave. So I’m not really sure about trance, trap or techno. I’ve gotta say that I haven’t heard anything that I don’t like—I run the gamut; I appreciate it all.

PowPow: Oh wow, ummm… I have an allergic reaction on my face, it’s really awkward, but I googled that to try and find out what it is and I didn’t get an answer. I’m still cute, though.
Mike: Tesla. I really love electric cars.

PowPow: Trap if I had to choose one, but electro house is my favorite. But I like anything that I can shake my ass to. I’m having so much fun—I’m looking forward to everything today.

I like house. Swedish House Mafia is the first event I went to, so they’re special to me. But if I had to choose one of those three options, I’d say trance—I like Armin van Buuren.
