Walker & Royce Show Up With Next Script-Flipping Cut “Wakey Wakey”

The last time we checked in with Walker & Royce, the NYC-based duo impressed the pants off us with their walk-all-over-the-limits remix of “Bright Lights.” To say it left us yearning for more wouldn’t even be the half of it, which is why we’ve been watching our feed with a hawk’s line of sight waiting for every offering these guys put out. The next one comes through with the help of standout imprint W&O Street Tracks, and it’s one hell of a hot one.
“Wakey Wakey” is the title, and it will be getting mad play by anyone with enough sense to spot a real game-changer (Paco Osuna, Anja Schneider, Maya Jane Coles, and Annie Mac have already pledged their support). Built upon quavering pads that vibrate freely around a low-slung rhythm and keep-‘em-guessing fills, the tunes shows Sam and Gavin returning with another script-flipping cut that’ll make you re-evaluate the playing field of house music.
