Barclay Crenshaw, aka Claude VonStroke, is having another banner year in 2016. Since storming the global underground club scene with 2006’s seminal “Who’s Afraid of Detroit,” the Dirtybird boss has spent the past decade cementing his legacy—his music, his label and his DJing—into our collective nightlife consciousness. This week, the scene responded by acknowledging him for all he’s done, voting him as #37 on Resident Advisor’s Top DJs of 2016 poll.

Originally released back in 2014, Andrea Di Rocco & Claude VonStroke’s “LFO I Love You” is a late-night dancefloor weapon and a signature Dirtybird slab of house gutter-funk. Now, the original mix gets repackaged and retooled by Italian imprint D-Floor, featuring three new remixes from Andrea Di Rocco himself, David Mayer and NiCe7 (aka Nicola Daniele and Cesare Marocco).

“The funny thing we did with this remix was ‘undress’ the LFO synth from the original track and create a new look for it,” NiCe7 tells Insomniac. “The LFO is still the main part in our version, but now it wears a leather bodysuit and high heels.”

Dive into the talented Italian duo’s pulsing remix below, featuring a well-crafted acid bassline that’s packed with peak-hour heat. Don’t miss it!

Available December 16 via D-Floor Records.
