Brisbane low-end powerhouse Chris Royal is a true dynamo. It’s a wonder where he finds time between a relentless DJ schedule, a steady stream of new music, and even running his own label, Royalty Records. Yet somehow, he keeps the grind going steady. It’s paying off. Much to even his own excitement, he’s dropping a fiery new track on Punks Music, a solid single of heavily grooving bass music called “Dance Floor.”
Right out of the gate, the rhythmic swing is in full force, and once the low-end kicks in, there’s no going back. Even though the commanding vocal sample instructs “Everybody to the dancefloor,” no announcement would need to be made for this track to achieve its end. The deep and wavy bass—with a steadily shuffling beat and plenty of builds and drops to keep a crowd on its toes—makes “Dance Floor” a surefire hit on the decks. Deceptively simple, Royal has taken the time to put all of the right pieces in all of the right places. It’s just more proof that hard work is propelling him forward, making for an excellent addition to Punks Music.
