Basti Grub Goes Deep and Sultry on “Movement”

Basti Grub is a DJ/producer hailing from Frankfurt, Germany, who’s released on massive house and techno stables like Desolat, Suara, and Exploited over the years. Recently, he’s introduced his own Aprapta Music to the world, and we’re featuring its first release of the year.

The first thing you’ll notice about “Movement” is the sexy, soulful vocal. It’s partnered with a focused groove made from sharp hi-hats and a dash of tribal percussion, which bring plenty of momentum to the proceedings. Basti uses it to work the vocal to maximum effect, for a track that’s equal parts seductive and deep.
