Alix Perez and Icicle Decimate With Untouchable Display of Low-Slung Illness on “Live With It”

Alix Perez links up with Icicle for an untouchable cut called “Live With It.” Featured on his forthcoming Enchiriodion EP, due to drop on Perez’s 1985 Music imprint, the cut opens with a low-slung percussive groove held down by a hypnotic vocal hook that paves the way for the tune proper.

Once we dig in to the proceedings, the minimalist approach of Alix Perez collides with the tech-tinged vision of Icicle for a superbly produced dip into the headier side of the dancefloor. With elements rising and falling in a hypnotic swirl of chest-trembling illness, the real magic is in the ever-shifting top-end that cuts through the soundscape with razor-sharp precision.

With both producers known for their top-notch abilities to bring the heat with an unrivaled vibe all their own, the merging of these two heavyweights makes for one of our favorite tracks on this equally impressive EP.
