Luckily, all of these options are just a quick drive away from the Craneway Pavilion, and all of the selections come highly recommended from Bay Area natives and transplants alike.

NOTE: All listings reflect weekend hours of operation.

Orphan Andy’s

3991 17th St
San Francisco, CA
24 hours

This Castro diner is a legend in San Francisco. Open for nearly 50 years, it has managed to outlive every possible change the city has seen, all while serving some of the most delicious diner food in the city. Bonus: The staff is super friendly and quirky, making your visit here a lot more fun.

Home of Chicken and Waffles

444 Embarcadero
West Oakland, CA
Open till 4am

Fried chicken and waffles are an epic, if not unlikely, combination. And this spot serves it up until 4am alongside other soul food favorites like mac & cheese, red beans and rice. Plus, it has a bar for all you Headliners who are 21+. There are locations in Walnut Creek and Daly City as well, but this is the one to hit after Audio.

Tacos Mi Rancho

1434 1st Ave
Oakland, CA
Open till 3am

Almost right across the street from Lake Merritt in Oakland, also an epic spot for rave meetups and kandi trading sessions, is this tiny food truck that comes alive when the sun goes down. If the only thing that can satisfy you is a massive burrito or a plate of tacos, this is your answer.

Grubstake Diner

1525 Pine St
San Francisco, CA
Open till 4am

This place serves some of the most proper cheesesteaks around and offers a solid lineup of other diner fare to boot. If you make it before 2am, you can grab one of the 35 beers they offer, many from local breweries. Just a few steps from Polk Street’s bars, this place is sure to have a lively crowd.

Crepes A-Go-Go

350 11th St
San Francisco, CA
Open till 4am

If your party squad can’t decide whether they want something sweet or something savory, why not go to a place that serves both? This food truck is sandwiched between several nightclubs and has an incredible lineup of sweet and savory French crepes. We recommend the Nutella with strawberries if you have a sweet tooth, and the turkey and cheese for those who like theirs savory. There are plenty of vegetarian options here, as well.

El Farolito

2779 Mission St
San Francisco, CA
Open till 3am

Right in the heart of San Francisco’s Mission District is this tiny taqueria. Their burritos are huge, and their tacos are delicious as well. It gets busy late-night, so plan on waiting in line for a bit if you’re making an after-Audio run. Also, don’t expect to get served if all you have is plastic: cash only. Luckily, there’s an ATM just outside.

Ryoko’s

619 Taylor St
San Francisco, CA
Open till 2am

If sushi is more your flavor, try Ryoko’s, a popular sushi bar with an underground feel, because it is literally underground. It’s a great place to keep the after-party vibes alive, as it has a vibrant atmosphere. The food is amazing, and the staff is fun and friendly. There’s also plenty of space if your crew is rolling deep.

Sam’s

618 Broadway
San Francisco, CA
Open till 3am

Don’t let the pizza sign hanging outside fool you; this is a straightforward burger joint. Getting the seal of approval from a drunken Anthony Bourdain should be enough of an endorsement. The food is super reasonably priced, and the place has been family-owned-and-operated since 1970. This is another spot where you don’t want to forget to bring some cash.

DNA Pizza

371 11th St
San Francisco, CA
24 hours

Located outside of the late-night, all-ages nightclub DNA Lounge, DNA Pizza is your standard New York–style pizza joint that also serves wings, burgers and sandwiches and also boasts a full bar. They get extra points for staying open 24 hours and having a vegan pie on the menu.

Top Dog

2534 Durant Ave
Berkeley, CA
Open till 3am

If a bacon-wrapped hot dog from a food cart isn’t cutting it for you, check out Top Dog. There are locations across the Bay, but the Berkeley spot is great on the late-night tip. Top Dog offers lots of options, including a fire mango habanero wiener and a veggie dog for those going meatless.

Audio on the Bay 2016 takes place Saturday, May 28, and Sunday, May 29, at Craneway Pavilion in the San Francisco Bay Area. For more information, visit the official website and event page.
