We all journey down different paths in our daily lives. Some of us are members of the Army; others are forklift drivers, quality control technicians, or licensing managers, to name a few. When we venture to a festival, however, we remove our costumes and transform into truer versions of ourselves, meeting in a world that allows us to leave all our worries (and boring-ass clothes) behind.

Insomniac celebrates #TransformationTuesday by asking six unique Headliners to discuss their lives in and out of the festival.

Read our full #TransformationTuesday series to meet even more awesome Headliners. And remember, ravers are everywhere.

Spring is a time for new beginnings. As a raver, how do you hope to grow within the next year?
Over the next year, I hope to broaden my experiences with different music festivals. This festival season, I will be traveling around the country to attend some festivals that I haven’t been to yet, like Electric Forest. I’m stoked to get out there, meet new people, and am ready to make more great memories.

I love exploring new places and new genres, so I use music to help me plan where I travel! I went to ASOT in Utrecht in February, and I’m planning on Tomorrowland in Belgium for 2018. I’d also love to hit up the techno clubs in Berlin (but not Berghain—I don’t think I own enough black clothes for that!).

Spring is a time for new beginnings. As a raver, how do you hope to grow within the next year?
To allow for growth not just as a person, but also as a member of the scene, you often have to roll with the punches and be a part of the change that is occurring. I have approached this year like many of my past ones, with an open mind and heart, and I hope that it brings forth new memories with those I consider to be friends and family. On a professional level, I am looking to expand my knowledge of music, discover new artists, and help foster growth with the many members of my team. From a personal standpoint, I am looking to enrich my current relationships with a deeper connection and greater understanding, while also building new ones with people I may not have even met yet.

Occupation: Student
How long have you been raving? 8 months
Spring is a time for new beginnings. As a raver, how do you hope to grow within the next year?
I hope to grow by getting out of my comfort zone more and meeting new great people! I want to become more comfortable in my own skin and wear what makes me happy. I feel so welcome at raves and am so glad to have found somewhere that is so judgment-free. Raving is all about PLUR, so I can’t wait to spread it at upcoming festivals like EDC Las Vegas!

Over the next year, I hope to grow emotionally and mentally. Everyday, I learn something new. Everyday is a new beginning or challenge for me.

Spring is a time for new beginnings. As a raver, how do you hope to grow within the next year?
I hope to grow as a raver by meeting more people and potentially making new friendships. I also plan on becoming more interactive when it comes to getting on rides. I want to take more time to walk around each festival and actually partake in the activities they each have there. Finally, I hope to experience other festivals outside of Southern California.
