Matt Black of Gotta Dance Dirty began his DJ career in 2009 purely because he wanted to play good music that he liked at his own house parties. From an occasional hobby, Matt Black undertook the moniker Burn Unit in 2011 and has played alongside big time acts in Los Angeles and San Francisco including Skrillex, Crookers, Le Castle Vania, and more in just over a year.

Versatile with his sets, Burn Unit can play everything from TLC’s ‘Creep’ to DJ Pierre’s ‘Acid Tracks’, and constantly creates a nearly tangible connection between DJ and crowd.
