You might learn a thing or two about house music from Abe Seiferth and Morgan Wiley—together known as Tippy Toes—who have stirred up something special in the love-center of our brains with their latest effort, Love Reminder. Finding a home on the always-happening Let’s Play House imprint, the two-man team sinks their teeth into a prime piece of four-on-the-floor real estate. Leading the four-track EP, the title cut sees the Brooklyn duo kick out a sensational song with a strong sense of belonging. A playful and efficient lead is cupped by swirling synths that come and go ever so gently, sliding across bubbly percussive arrangements. On-point harmonizing and heartfelt crooning make this one a done deal.

“Love Reminder” drops February 15 via Let’s Play House. BTW, if you like this Trippy Toes tune, keep an eye out for upcoming Let’s Play House happenings. With more than a handful of singles and EPs either done or nearly in the can, there are a lot things to dig in to over the next few months. There’s a new Jozef K and Winter Son single, which Luke Hess and Basic Soul Unit contributed remixes to, coming out in March. Followed by a second 12-inch by HNNY. There’s also a new Room Service record out next month by Kresy and Jacques Renault’s debut LP ought to hit sometime in the spring, but we’re told they have not locked a specific date in yet. And for our NYC readers, there are some late night festivities on the horizon: Urulu and Magic Touch on Friday January 16 at Rough Trade; Kenji Takimi of Crue-L on February 21 at Good Room; and lastly Max Graef and Renault on April 2 at Panther Room. Let’s Play House are living up to their name, indeed.

A good measure of success is to hear one of our tracks while we are attending an amazing party.

Creatively, how did the work on this track stack up to previous studio sessions?
Having such a strong vocal to work with made the overall process of finishing the Love Reminder EP easier than previous Tippy Toes tracks.
