EDC Photobooth: Dem Feels Doe

So many feels…Electric Daisy Carnival is an exhilarating rollercoaster of emotions. From the moment your face lights up with excitement once you take your first step onto the festival grounds to the separation anxiety you experience after the final track finishes playing.

We challenged four Headliners at EDC Vegas with the task of providing us with their perspective on four different feelings. This is how it all went down: we asked each of them to hop into the EDC Photo Booth and strike a pose that embodies the essence of feeling happy, silly, serious and sexy. Then they were instructed to answer a question that corresponds to each emotion.

Tell us about the moment that you’ve been the happiest in your life?
When I’m at a rave because I’m with my boyfriend, Javier. We met in middle school and have been together for about four years.

What makes you laugh?
Anything really. When I see people laughing, it makes me laugh because of the energy that people give off.

What can the world learn from dance music culture?
Just go with the flow and be happy. Don’t take life so seriously because it’s so short. It will flash by in the blink of an eye.

When do you feel the most confident?
When I’m smiling.

Tell us about the moment when you’ve been the happiest in your life?
When I met my wife, Peach. I felt a little bit nervous and excited. But once we really connected, it was pure happiness.

What makes you laugh?
Farts and goats make me laugh because they are just silly. I just watched a video of Arnold Schwarzenegger farting in different scenes from his movies and I laughed for like five minutes straight.

What can the world learn from dance music culture?
I think they can learn not to take themselves so seriously all of the time. People need to just have fun.

When do you feel the most confident?
I felt pretty confident in this suit all weekend. It’s not something that I would usually wear, but I just put it on, and yeah…

When I was at Coachella this year for the first time.

Everything. Laughter is contagious.

The world can learn to just be one unit. In dance culture, everyone feels it and everyone is a single unit.

When I’m dancing.

Walking into this stadium because it allows me to be free. For once in my life, I can walk around and just be myself.

What makes you laugh?
Seeing other people smile. I like to make people happy because it allows me to enjoy myself even more.

What can the world learn from dance music culture?
It’s about the music. It’s not about what most people might think. It’s about expressing yourself as a person. Dance music allows you to be free from all the stress and hate in the world.

When do you feel the most confident?
When I’m allowed to be myself.
