Q of the Day: How Would You Describe EDC to Your Parents?
How would you describe EDC to your parents?
Jeremy Adams
My parents question what it is that I do here, and I tell them we just go out and get crazy and have a good time. They’re very inquisitive.
Angel Rodriguez
I would tell them it’s a life-changing experience. EDC gives you an entirely different perspective on how life is and how everything is suppose to be. Not many people really understand that. The most important people in my life right now I’ve met at these events. They’re the most genuine and trust-worthy people.
Whitney Walter
A huge festival with thousands and thousands of people flooding in from all over the world to enjoy the same amazing feelings of love, happiness, peace, unity and respect.
Jake Rice
If it were my father I would have to say that it’s just another concert. My mom is more on the loose side, so I’d say, ‘Mom, this is the modern day Woodstock and you would love it.’ It’s all about family coming together from around the world; joining together in happiness for the whole weekend.
Julie Yoneko
Just a music festival and I would leave it at that. My mom understands.
Monica Rodriguez
I would tell them that it’s a big festival with a whole bunch of music that we all love. And that it’s a place where everyone comes together and has a good time.
Tanya Bitcon
I don’t. I say that I’m going to a ‘concert.’
