At the jump of every Ibiza season, predictions come flying in as to which tunes are expected to do the most work during the summer-long fete on the beach. Well, the results are in, and they have arrived in the form of the Ibiza 2015 Vol. 2 compilation. No one has a closer watch on the White Isle than Toolroom Records, so who else could deliver this agonizingly awesome 65-track pack, along with three exclusive mixes, spanning the most pivotal points made on the dancefloor this year—including blazing bits from Sonny Fodera, Shadow Child, Nicole Moudaber and Toolroom team captain Mark Knight.
Picking up where they left off with their collab “Just a Dreamer” on Suara, Vario Volinski and Strassenmajor sync back up in the studio to let go of their latest vocally-driven weapon, “Don’t Leave.” They enlist the crooning of Amira, as her siren call drifts delicately atop a bed of pulsating basslines and sun-kissed piano melodies. It’s proved to be a big moment for Vario and Strass, and there’s still plenty of kick left in this mega-mover.
