Lex & Wood’s “DNCE” Is a Dynamite Deep-House Jam

As their Twitter bio deftly points out, Lex & Wood’s master plan is to simply “press buttons and hope for the best.” But seriously, whatever they’re doing to realize their DJ dreams seems to be working its magic.

After coming together back in 2011 over a shared love of house, the Montrealers, aka Alessandro and Benjamin, are on the rise in 2017. Following up past releases on Seattle label Build It Records and Bristol’s own Eton Messy, they’ve lined up the upcoming DNCE for German powerhouse Great Stuff.

Our favorite, “DNCE,” is a silky-smooth deep house jam punctuated by tight drum kicks and splashy hi-hats. It’s dynamite for your next early-evening cocktail hour set with close friends. Dive in below.
