HRRSN “Modest Monuments”
Berlin-based HRRSN, real name Harrison, is a man on the move with music that never fails to put you in motion. With an aural aesthetic that is pensive but still works at the party, he’s readying three new originals for an EP due out on Stil vor Talent next week. Erected with a genuine groove, the title cut, “Modest Monuments,” is a crowd-capturing number with the right stuff to, at the very least, keep house heads satisfied. He works in his own vocals to great effect, as they waft gracefully through velvety atmospherics complemented by lofty arpeggiations. I can see this working well any time of day, but especially during a picturesque sunrise with your loved ones.
