It looks like LITmas is arriving a little early this year. Pasquale gets into the spirit of the holiday season with a special Christmas edition of the show. He was feeling extra generous, so the next two hours features four—yes, we said four—freaking guest mixes to make sure your holiday is hyped up to the max. The artists putting in work on the Night Owl decks are also going to be sleighing it at Countdown NYE next weekend.
Noisia kicks things off in hyperdrive, as the Dutch trio cherry-pick their favorite selections from this year’s Noisia Radio shows. They have a tendency to suss out the very best in drum & bass, halftime and experimental bass music, and they put the essentials from 2017 on blast.
Up next is another three-piece outfit by the name of Brohug. The Swedish act has had a breakout year in the bass house world, even though its members have enjoyed crazy success in their solo careers. They put all of the experience to the test by giving you a warm embrace of bottom-heavy heaters.
Slowing down the tempo without losing any momentum, Devault comes in hot with his 30-minute offering. The SoCal native has been fanning the flames of futuristic beats, and his mix somehow finds the sweet spot between sophisticated and swerve-worthy.
Wrapping up the show is 4B. The New York–based producer has been hitting the red on the turnt-o-meter and his 30-minute appearance is meant to make you feel like the boss that you are. He burns through some of the dankest trap, dubstep, and Jersey club.
