Insomniac’s Discovery Project was created to give a voice to emerging artists in the electronic music world. Aimed at cultivating the scene’s untapped talent, the platform strives to bring today’s fresh faces to light through performance competitions, and a unique artist collective.

Hand-selected by the Insomniac team and the guest judge Wuki, Countdown Discovery Project competition winners are given an opportunity to showcase their talent onstage at multiple Insomniac festivals across the country.

For the 2025 competition, Discovery Project is teaming up with Cosmic Academy! The Countdown 2025 Discovery Project will award its winner a specialized program tailored to artist growth in areas of music production and music business.
