Bassrush Records continues to smash its way into the new year with yet another epic release for the masses, in which the ever-essential Borgore recruits up-and-comer Benda for a little gangsta lean on “Camo Diamond Rollie.” Centered on old-school DNA—but given a touch of that futuristic, genre-blurring vibe that has helped Borgore secure his position as a proper G in the game—the project no doubt also serves to showcase the flex of Borgore’s 19-year-old protégé Benda as he gears up for his own onslaught of releases in the coming year.
“I always love working with up-and-coming producers; it’s very motivating for me,” Borgore tells Insomniac. “I’ve been working with Benda a lot. We are really good friends. Most of the time we spend together is in my studio, so naturally, this second collab came out.”
Benda is quick to point out that “Borgore has been one of the main inspirations as to why I even started making bass music. It’s never forced—we just work on projects together and realize, ‘Whoa, this is something we just have to put out.’”
With no better home for the cut than Bassrush Records, expect to not only see more collaborations from Borgore and Benda in the near future, but a continued tsunami of neck-snapping, booty-shaking, head-cracking cuts from the Bassrush Records fam headed straight to your earholes.
