YAMATOMAYA is a skilled Japanese DJ and musician who effectively combines classical music with house music to create her unique style of Progressive House. She picked up DJing and continued her passion for music. Immediately after picking up the art of DJing, YAMATOMAYA began to perform around Kansai and attracted a large following. Her popularity would land her not just Japan tours, but International gigs. Not soon after her debut, YAMATOMAYA moved to Tokyo to produce music. Her first original song was “ALIVE,” which quickly rose into Japan’s iTunes Dance charts to #3 and #1 in the music video charts. Her follow up song, “Take My Hand” was also a hit which earned 240,000 views on YouTube in just one month. Alongside her busy DJ and production schedule, YAMATOMAYA regularly DJs alongside the very popular CYBERJAPAN Dancers, who are regular performers at ULTRA JAPAN. As her popularity increases, so do the International gigs, and YAMATOMAYA has plans to perform in Europe and spread her sound of Progressive House!
