Watching SOHMI take control of the decks and effortlessly command the attention of thousands of people at venues like the Brooklyn Mirage, you can’t help but understand right away there’s something special about her.

And while being thrust in front of such high-stakes situations and crowds might cause panic for some, for the Korean American DJ, producer, and vocalist – who is a classically trained pianist and graduate of theater studies – being on stage is where she’s always felt most at home.
