As one of the premiere DJs in Los Angeles, Marie Nyx has an unmatched ability to adapt to the wants and needs of any dance floor without sacrificing her infectious, apparitional style. Marie’s early influence of post punk, new wave, darkwave, and indie/alternative dance has inspired her sound to be raw and dark with gritty synth lines and driving grooves. Marie is recognized for revered DJ sets at The Lot Radio, Crssd Festival, and underground events throughout Southern California. She was recently named by DJ Mag as an emerging act to follow.
In 2021, Marie co-founded her own hypnotic, electronica and underground club music imprint, Delusional Records, with producer and live artist Maude Vôs. The label highlights underrepresented artists in electronic music, primarily focusing on LGBTQIA+, female, nonbinary, and artists of color. In just two years of running, the label has been nominated for Best Breakthrough Label in North America by DJ Mag and featured in SPIN Magazine and other various publications.
