Joaqu.n, originally from Venezuela, is a DJ/Producer based in Los Angeles. At an early age, Joaqu.n and his family fled to the states as political refugees, making their way to Houston, TX – Later settling in Austin where he began learning how to DJ + produce.
Fast forward a few years, and Joaqu.n is now part of Pangea Sound – an LA based global music collective. In the past two years Pangea has toured all over the US doing sold out shows. Along with touring the country, he’s also been featured on international platforms such as Boiler Room, NTS, and The Lot Radio.
Joaqu.n is also one of Austin’s most influential community leaders. He has created some of the city’s biggest underground parties including official after parties for Thundercat & Flying Lotus, where he DJ’d alongside Internet personality, Zack Fox. He has also played shows alongside Cuco, Amaarae, Glorilla, Mr Carmack, Juls, Ape Drums (Major Lazer), Falcons, Sam Gellaitry, & many more.
