James Earl

Origin: None

James Earl is a Hip-Hop/Electro artist, DJ, emcee, and producer based in Los Angeles, California. His sound is driven, direct and punchy, blurring the lines between the golden age tone of old school rap and the lush production feel of contemporary releases. His open format tracks defy specific categories and genre definitions, although rap and electronica are major influences, colliding into a signature and direct blend of sound. Based at “The Spaceship”, a legendary house in Los Feliz, James Earl has hosted anybody from TY Dolla $ign to A$AP Ferg, just to mention a few. Artists and producers love to chill, hang and work in such a creative and supportive environment, where the creative magic always happens.James Earl has also had the opportunity to work on a wide variety of songs, including “Buried” (WHATSONOT) and “Sweeter Than I” (George Maple), which are available on Spotify and other streaming platforms. As a former member of production team “ProducedbyTHC” with frequent collaborators Axel Foley and Ricci Riera, produced numerous tracks, including great releases by Kendrick Lamar (Good Kid, M.A.A.D. City) and Schoolboy Q (Collard Greens). Currently, James, Axel Foley and Quentin Juarez have teamed up as SpaceTeam Mafia, based out of The Spaceship.
