Freek Coppens (aka) Ferreck Dawn has been active as a dj and producer for over 18 years now. His productions — released on well known labels like Defected, Relief, Mother and Sweat it out — Have been supported by a wide variety of dj’s like Carl Cox, Luciano, Nic Fanciulli, Maceo Plex, Mark Knight, Green Velvet, Richy Ahmed and Paco Osuna.

Ferreck has had very successful releases throughout the years like Love Too Deep (BBC radio 1 daytime rotation), You are the one (Annie Mac’s hottest record of the world) Selfish Games, Rockin’, Old Dollars and Lord. Ferreck’s debut release on Defected in 2018 (In Arms) became one of the most played tracks of the Ibiza season, reached the overall nr 1 on Beatport and gathered over 50 million streams. He recently released ‘Coming Home’, a collab with A-Trak on Club Sweat and ‘By My Side’, a solo release on Defected that remained in the Beatport top 10 for weeks. In the last 12 months he remixed artists like David Guetta, Oliver Heldens, Michael Calfan, Martin Jensen, Matoma, Tom Walker and Hayden James.

2019 has been a great year for Ferreck with several Beatport top 10’s, releases on respected underground labels and shows all over the world. Some of the highlights were Defected Croatia, HI Ibiza, We Are FSTVL, his first US and Canada tour and Tomorrowland Belgium.

2020 is off to a great start with a sold-out show at Printworks in London, his Australasian debut tour and forthcoming shows in Brazil, Guadalupe, Sri Lanka, Mozambique, a US Tour and all the key summer festival already confirmed. With numerous releases scheduled for 2020, this year is already shaping up to be his best year ever.
