DRĖĖĖMY

Genre: Electronic
Origin: Egypt
DREEEMY is an indigenous Egyptian interdisciplinary sound artist, culture bearer, consultant, and community builder based in New York City, and activating internationally.
She is known as an award-winning performing artist, music producer, DJ, vocalist, spoken word poet, sound designer, arts curator, philosopher, mystic, writer, speaker, ceremonialist, facilitator, educator, trauma-informed embodiment & meditation guide, and a healing justice activist at the intersection of transformational creativity and ecosystem consciousness.
As a transnational artist, DREEEMY’s sound is a transcendental organic electronica — a conscious communication of soulful vibration from across the diaspora and beyond.
She has soundtracked spaces that range from nightclubs, galas, theaters, and festivals, to museums, universities, public parks, historic landmarks, and all manner of sacred spaces.
From ambient, meditative journeys, to immersive ceremonial cyphers, to full-on raving dancefloors, she is a uniquely diverse creator of sound and space whose frequency has filled venues like Madison Square Garden in New York City, Coachella in California, and at the United Nations Climate Conference in Egypt.
Inspired & informed by the meta-physical, medicinal power of sound and movement, DREEEMY’s journeys are full-spectrum, fusing and layering tempos, sonic textures, and cultural codes with embodied and expressed storytelling to create alchemical spaces for personal revelation and collective celebration. There are no limits to her expression.
Drawing from her North African heritage, she harnesses driving rhythms, earthen basslines, natural atmospheres, forgotten instruments, ancestral voices, tribal invocations — ancient sounds mixed with futurist modalities made for remembering and re-writing our individual and collective myths.
Made for awakening dormant consciousness.
Made for recalling lost wisdoms.
