I’m Dope Ameen, a future riddim artist based in LA. My stage name—pronounced like dopamine—comes from my middle name, “Ameen,” which means trustworthy in Arabic. The name fits: I make sounds to stimulate the neurotransmitters. As a lifelong musician, I’m not only a producer, DJ, and guitarist, but also a practicing physician seeing patients in Los Angeles. My music toes the line between melodic and heavy, futuristic and raw. Dope Ameen delivers high-impact bass designed to hit both the mind and the body.
