Nicolás Aguirre was known as ARTIX long before his endless musical catalogue, neck breaking Bass creations and raw Latin Rap bars garnered international appeal. Once an online gaming moniker for a kid who dreamt of musical stardom while banging on a homemade drum (made from a battery), it wasn’t long before he formed his own Metal band in his hometown of Cordoba, Argentina. While performing covers, ARTIX discovered Rap music and soon after, began writing his own lyrics, composing his own instrumentals and experimenting with different sounds. His discovery of Dubstep changed everything, a modern umbrella genre, ARTIX was now able to bring his entire musical career to one place. He thought, “This is it”! A model of unrelenting hard work and consistency, ARTIX is now credited as a singer/songwriter on over 300 songs. His latest productions have caught the attention of Excision with a 2020 release of “Drop Dat Shit” on his Subsidia Records debut Night Vol. 1 compilation. Jessica Audiffred joined forces with ARTIX on a collab titled “Trippin” on Flux Pavilions Circus Records as did Point.Blank, Bommer and AKIRAH. Borgore also signed ARTIX to his Buygore imprint, resulting in an entire arsenal of ARTIX Dubstep weapons.
