9B49 (pronounced “Nine Before Nine”) is the house music alias of Washington, DC native, Cayhan Movaghari. With the help of longtime childhood friend Connor Sweeney, also known as @De1!nquent, he makes his production debut with the track “Y.O.U.” on Realty Records. 
 After failing miserably at multiple instruments in grade school, Cayhan relegated his relationship with music to one of pure spectatorship. That was until his friend, Derek Attardi (Deerock) presented him with an opportunity to open for him & Slushii at The Up & Up Music Festival in the Summer of 2019. 
 Misleading Derek, and claiming that he knew how to DJ….Cayhan scrambled to learn on YouTube just a few weeks before the gig. With a lack of prior experience, he desperately called upon a few friends for help, including Keenan Haan (LZRD) for a crash course on mixing. 
 Ever since then, 9B49 has become obsessed with putting on high-energy performances featuring various forms of house music designed to bring people together. 
 The artists who have most heavily influenced him include Dr. Fresch, AC Slater, Marten Horger, Moksi, Habstrakt, Noizu, Dombresky, & Anti-Up. 
 Known for his infectious spirit and ability to deliver diverse sets, 9B49 has had the pleasure of opening for artists such as Noizu, Cash Cash, MAKJ, S!ckick, Slushii, Late London, Misha, TwinSick, & Disco Lines. 
 Catch him live at either of his residencies in Atlantic City (Premier Night Club) or DC (Twelve After Twelve).
