Yukimatsu is from Osaka, where he became a known name in the underground DJ-scene of the 2010s. After debuting as “¥ØU$UK€ ¥UK1MAT$U” alongside DJ Nobu in 2014, he quickly gained attention in Japanese clubs, before playing alongside American musician Oneohtrix Point Never, who introduced Yukimatsu to a wide Western audience.
