Insomniac Cares

Insomniac is dedicated to making a positive impact on the local neighborhoods and communities where our events are held. For each festival, Insomniac allocates $1 per ticket transaction and $10 per guest list attendee to raise funds for worthwhile nonprofit organizations focusing on:

Arts & Education

Health & Well Being

Environmental Sustainability

Since the beginning of Insomniac’s charitable giving initiative in 2011, the company has worked with over 30 local and national nonprofit organizations and donated over $1.1 million.

In 2015, Insomniac Cares launched the first-ever “EDC Week Charity Auction” in partnership with eBay For Charity and the leading companies in Las Vegas, giving the public a chance to bid on once-in-a-lifetime experiences to support local charities. One hundred percent of proceeds from the auction go directly to charity.

Approximately $70,000 was raised for local nonprofit Culture Shock Las Vegas in 2015, a group dedicated to steering youth away from substance abuse, violence and hatred through performance art and dance.

This year's EDC Week Charity Auction ended in June, raising over $119,000, a new record for the initiative. The non profit recipient, The Shade Tree, aims to improve the lives of women, children and their pets affected by domestic violence and crisis in the Las Vegas valley. With the money generated from the 2016 auction, Insomniac will help innovate and redesign The Shade Tree's Children's Activity Center (CAC), an arts and education space designed to inspire and encourage a positive and healthy atmosphere for the youth being served at the shelter.
