Bemah’s sound is rooted in East Coast hip hop. The production is groove-centered. Live feeling drums sit with heavyweight low end. Gritty textures, sample chops, and vocal cuts are woven into his records. Artists like the Wu-Tang Clan, Mobb Deep, DJ Premier, and The Notorious B.I.G. shaped the foundation. Rather than recreating that era, he studies its rhythm and attitude and translates it into modern bass music.
His recent track “Stuntin” serves as a clear example of the project’s direction. The record carries the energy of 90s rap into a modern bass context with intention. This approach has earned support from artists including Effin, Excision, K+Lab, Liquid Stranger, Richard Finger & Zeds Dead.
