DJ W!ld “If” (Phil Weeks Remix)

Most would say it’s too early to tell, but Flashmob Limited is looking to have a stronghold on the scene with the empire it’s establishing via their artist collective. For its second release, the Italian imprint leans on the hip-gyrating grooves of Frenchman DJ W!ld to deliver three impeccable originals. Parisian rhythmic mastermind Phil Weeks also comes out to play, lending “If” a proper warehouse rendition you’d mistake for a ‘90s classic cut. It’s a sublime four-on-the-floor shaker, using strut-your-best basslines and intoxicating perc programming to the greatest effect. It’s not a matter of if, but rather, when this exquisite bit will meet you out on the dancefloor.
