Headliners, as you’re making your final preparations for this year’s EDC Las Vegas, don’t forget that the EDC experience doesn’t end at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. EDC is completely taking over the infamous Sin City for EDC Week 2017, where we’re programming a full week’s worth of must-see performances, massive shows, official Insomniac takeovers, and wild pool parties across all the best clubs and venues in Las Vegas from Monday, June 12, through Monday, June 19. We already gave you a taste of what’s to come with our initial lineup and event schedule. Now we’re beefing things up as we add more than 30 artists and 15 new shows to this year’s EDC Week blowout.
Duke Dumont kicks off the celebration with our newly added official EDC Week Opening Party at XS Nightclub at Encore Monday, June 12, while powerhouse duo Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike take over the Encore Beach Club Thursday, June 15. We’ve also added new shows with Dillon Francis, Kygo, Marshmello, Yellow Claw, Flosstradamus, and many more.
Insomniac’s dedicated brands are also hosting their signature parties, as well as some debut showcases. On Thursday, June 15, the hardstyle-focused Basscon Pool Party takes listeners on a ride through the harder styles of dance music over at the Stratosphere Pool at Stratosphere Hotel and Casino. #TeamBassrush will keep the poolside vibes going with the Bassrush Pool Party, held at Rehab Beach Club at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, with Borgore and Valentino Khan. The bass onslaught continues that night with the Headliner-favorite Bassrush Massive at the Joint at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, featuring a stacked lineup: Andy C, Datsik, Ed Rush & Optical, Flux Pavilion, Zomboy, and more.
Dreamstate, our dedicated trance brand, hosts the first-ever Dreamstate Pool Party at Marquee Dayclub at the Cosmopolitan Thursday, June 15, with performances by Markus Schulz, ATB, Ben Nicky, MaRLo, and Ruben De Ronde. They later close out the night at TAO Nightclub at the Venetian, as Dreamstate presents the biggest artists around for a full-fledged trance takeover featuring Paul van Dyk, Aly & Fila, Vini Vici, John O’Callaghan, and Solarstone.
And for the first time ever, Factory 93, our dedicated underground brand, is hosting its own showcase—Factory 93 Dark Water, with Chris Liebing, Nicole Moudaber, and Pan-Pot—on Thursday, June 15, at DAYLIGHT Beach Club at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino.
