While every day is a good day to give something of yourself to those less fortunate, the feeling of charity and goodwill manifests even more during the holiday season. This Thursday, December 1, Insomniac is teaming up with Exchange LA, ABC7, and Southern California Firefighters to help benefit Spark of Love, a toy drive and distribution initiative that includes a number of related holiday events benefiting foster youth and caregivers. The almighty OWSLA crew is curating a night’s worth of proper music and special guests, all for a good cause.
To participate, bring an unwrapped toy of $20 value to Exchange LA in Downtown Los Angeles for entry. Tickets for the show are also available, and for those looking to amp up the generosity, sponsor tables are available. Here’s your chance to make this holiday season a little brighter for underserved children in Southern California while dancing the night away with all your friends and loved ones.
ABC7 and Southern California Firefighters are celebrating the 24th year of the Spark of Love Toy Drive. Over the past two decades, the drive has successfully collected more than 9.5 million toys. The campaign collects new, unwrapped toys and sports equipment for underserved children and teens in Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Orange, Ventura and Riverside counties. Toys collected in each county are distributed locally. For more information on the Spark of Love Toy Drive, a calendar of events for the organization, and different ways to donate, visit the ABC7 website.
Let’s show the children of Southern California just how much the Insomniac family cares.
