Factory 93, Insomniac’s dedicated underground home, is bringing three of the brightest talents in house and tech house to the stage: Jamie Jones and the Martinez Brothers. These renowned producers/DJs will be taking over the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles Saturday, December 29, for a special seven-hour, open-to-close b2b set that’s bound to go into the wee morning hours.
Tickets for Factory 93 Presents Jamie Jones b2b the Martinez Brothers go on sale Thursday, November 15, at noon PT.
Both Jones and the Martinez Brothers have continuously pushed dance music to new horizons via their respective careers and labels, which include Jones’ imprints Hot Creations and Paradise and the Martinez Brothers’ Cuttin’ Headz and Tuskegee.
Jones cut his teeth in the UK club scene, leaving a small town in Wales to spend years honing his craft in Ibiza and London before breaking through on Damian Lazarus’ hugely influential Crosstown Rebels label. He has championed a warmer, melodic take on house and techno, as evidenced on his Hot Creations imprint, his live band project Hot Natured, and his eclectic, globe-trotting Paradise brand, which celebrated its seventh season in Ibiza this summer.
The Martinez Brothers are intertwined with the dancefloors of New York. They grew up playing percussion in their father’s church in the Bronx before taking up the DJ decks. As teenagers, they were profiled by The New York Times and were taken under the wing of NYC’s house scene, an underground community of producers and artists the brothers continue to foster today through their Cuttin’ Headz label. The duo has since become one of the most in-demand electronic acts across the world, holding down a lauded residency at Ibiza’s legendary Circoloco party and crossing into fashion and visual arts as runway DJs for international brand Givenchy.
The Factory 93 show marks the first time both artists have made appearances in Los Angeles in a while, as they have each kept busy with a packed schedule in Ibiza, where they both hold residencies at the iconic nightclub DC10. The December event will also feature the bold Factory 93 experience, which fuses immersive live art, cutting-edge technology, and exceptionally curated house and techno.
