DJ Snake Makes History as France’s First With 2 American Top 40 #1 Hits
If there were any doubts that DJ Snake would consolidate what began with “Turn Down for What” and his #1 smash with Diplo last year, “Lean On,” they’ve been dismissed in 2016. While he’s held his ground performing at the likes of EDC Las Vegas, he’s also secured his second #1 with his Justin Bieber crossover-collab “Let Me Love You”—the first French act ever to do so.

The song is the lead single from his Encore album, which arrived this year, and his second #1 success on the American Top 40 chart represents DJ Snake shooting ahead of his countrymen David Guetta and Daft Punk, both who have managed only a single #1 so far.
“Let Me Love You” represents dance music remaining in the limelight this year, among any ongoing talk of the EDM bubble bursting. Its video has also arrived; watch it below.
