Marco Resmann’s Warehouse Warble “Rushing”
Since the mid-1990s, Marco Resmann has built a quality name for himself in the Berlin underground club scene while serving up his own signature blend of uplifting house and peak-time techno.
Today’s Track of the Day, “Rushing,” is no exception. On the title cut from his new solo three-track EP, the German veteran delivers a warbling warehouse slab laced with hissing hi-hats, taut drums, and tripped-out vocal murmurs. It’s a solid late-night groove to wrap your ears around.
“I’m very happy about my debut on Audiojack’s Gruuv Recordings,” Resmann tells Insomniac. “I know the guys already for a while; they also did a remix for my label Upon You a long time ago. I’m glad they have selected these tracks for my EP. ‘Mobius’ and ‘I See light’ are already two years old, but they are making a good couple together with ‘Rushing,’ which I produced exclusively for the EP. I’m really into Tom Flynn’s recent output, and I’m stoked that he did a remix for this EP. I just love the way he has stripped down ‘Rushing.’”
