Kaiserdisco Flex Their Techno Muscles With “Salacia”

When it comes to world-beating techno labels, Hamburg-based duo Kaiserdisco have released on more than a few, counting off Tronic, Drumcode, Terminal M, Suara, and beyond. Later this week, they return with “Salacia” on Tokyo’s Session Womb imprint—the label offshoot of the city’s beloved Womb nightclub—and we’re bringing you a preview as our Track of the Day.

A vintage warehouse stomp underpins “Salacia,” showing that Kaiserdisco know exactly what they’re doing when it comes to fashioning techno that can smash it in the peak-time department as required. And it’s a peak-time offering, indeed, with its heavy kick and techno grit joined by a sizable melodic hook that will certainly get those hands in the air. There’s some big, stompy fun to be had.
