Track of the Day: Andre Crom’s Driving Techno Cut “Chordal”

Andre Crom is an eclectic German artist with an open-minded approach to making underground dance music. Recently, he’s moved away from crafting house, while exploring his deep, dark techno side in depth.

The result, for the OFF Recordings boss, is a solid new five-tracker for Josh Wink’s signature Ovum label, which has delivered past releases from the likes of Loco Dice, Ambivalent, Vince Watson, KiNK, Steve Bug, and others.

The second cut, “Chordal,” is a stripped-down slice of driving techno that’s sure to please on the peak-time dancefloor.

“Good, diverse techno and tech house from the diversely talented Andre Crom,” is how Wink describes it. “Happy to have him and this strong EP on Ovum Recordings. Been playing all the cuts since he sent the demo last year, with great dancefloor response.”
