Hardsoul Twists Raphaella’s Gorgeous Vocals Into Versatile Floor-Filler “Weightless”
Hardsoul can count themselves among the Dutch dancefloor specialists who have really gone the distance in dance music culture. Originally built around brothers DJ ROOG and Greg van Bueren—who have been producing polished house music together for more than 20 years—the now artist collective are issuing their latest single on Get Twisted Records, and it thorougly showcases their heritage in fine style.
“Weightless” sees the Hardsoul outfit working with the beautiful vocals of Raphaella, which they outline seductively in an early breakdown that shimmers with ethereal melody. This is just a prelude, though, before it kicks back into a housier drive that will ensure the record gets the right kind of response in the clubs.
