Basti Grub’s Moody, Melodic Cut “Close My Eyes”

Basti Grub’s sound is unexpected, uncompromising and undeniably original, mixing in everything from exotic African vocals to dub reggae with his trademark tribal beats. Previously, the German artist, aka Sebastian Grub, has released tracks on respected underground labels like Kling Klong, Kittball, Desolat, Cocoon, and Get Physical.

Now, Grub is set to release his latest single, “Close My Eyes,” featuring vocalists Patrick Kitchen and Phil Oxera, on Italian David Squillace’s signature label, This and That. As you’ll discover, it’s a moody, melodic cut featuring piano chords and a come-hither vocal that’s both soothing and soulful. It’s pitch-perfect for an idyllic Ibiza sunset party-starter on the terrace.
